”2nd Global Collection" Shooting in Barcelona

We're thrilled to share an update on the commercial shoot for our second global collection, "KIYOKO HATA 2nd Barcelona Collection," which took place during the Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week 2025 (BBFW), one of the world's largest bridal events.

Last year, during our first BBFW, the commercial shoot for KIYOKO HATA's inaugural global bridal collection was a bit challenging due to uncooperative weather. We had to work with a very tight schedule in Barcelona, constantly watching the sky for brief windows of opportunity. This time, however, we were incredibly lucky to shoot under Barcelona's clear blue skies, which created the ideal atmosphere.

For the "2nd Barcelona Collection," we carefully selected a variety of locations that truly capture the essence of Barcelona and perfectly complement our dresses. These included Gaudí's iconic Bellesguard, the tranquil Monasterio de Pedralbes, and the popular old town photo spot, Pont del Bisbe. While location shoots always bring unique challenges compared to a studio, Barcelona's stunning light and vibrant colors provided the perfect backdrop, allowing us to beautifully showcase the unique world of KIYOKO HATA.

We are incredibly grateful to our outstanding team, whose expertise and support made this shoot possible. Daria, our Barcelona-based photographer, returned this year, along with Yusuke, our talented videographer who traveled from Japan. We also had the pleasure of collaborating with Ana Cano, a skilled hair and makeup artist based in Barcelona, and Aya, our fantastic local Japanese coordinator. Their quick responsiveness to our numerous requests helped us capture truly stunning visuals, and we couldn't be more thankful for their contributions. The easygoing chats with the team during breaks are highlights we will remember from this commercial shoot.
